LIVE access
LIVE access still depends on account and market eligibility
TikTok's current Help Centre says creators must be 18 or older to go LIVE and lists 1,000 followers as a general threshold that may vary by region. TikTok also says LIVE and Gifts are not available everywhere. Treat the threshold as a check in the creator's own app, not a promise that an application or network can unlock access.

Safety
TikTok's LIVE safety guidance puts privacy before growth
TikTok's LIVE safety guide recommends checking backgrounds for personal information, using audience controls and setting comment, keyword, mute and block tools. A safer room is a repeatable operating habit: prepare boundaries, give moderators clear permissions and end a session when continuing would increase risk.

Gifts
LIVE Gifts are virtual items governed by current policy
TikTok's Gifts help page describes Gifts as virtual items used to engage with content. Coins and Gifts have age and regional conditions and are subject to TikTok's Virtual Items Policy. Do not describe Gifts as guaranteed income or publish a network percentage without a current written term reviewed for the relevant market.
